The Mission and Purpose Statement
for the Boonville United Methodist Church
(developed by the Discipleship Task Force February 2019)

To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the
transformation of the world…

Love…Worship…Nurture…Serve…

Love first so that we can
Worship God so that we can
Nurture one another so that we can
Serve as we are called so that we can
make disciples of Jesus Christ
for the transformation of the world.
The United Methodist Women will meet on Tuesday, November 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the lounge. The program will be our pledge service which will be led by Kay Skjellerup. We will also be learning the “back story” and singing one or two favorite hymns. Refreshments will be served, and all ladies are welcome.
Join our United Methodist Book Club

We are ready for the kickoff of our United Methodist book group and are encouraging any of you (ladies and gentlemen) who wish to read and discuss books to join us. We will meet periodically between now and next March for our book discussions. All meetings will be held in the church library at 2:00 p.m. Reminders will be put in the Sunday Morning Visitor at the appropriate times. For those of you who wish to earn a reading certificate for the United Methodist Women's reading program, all of these books will qualify. Also, all of the books are available through the Mid-York library system or can be purchased at abebooks.com for under $5.00 with free shipping.

The books and our dates for meeting are as follows:
